When Movie Monsters Ride Bikes

We believe at Cyclelogical that there are few things better than the thrill and fun of being out on your bike!  This last week in Ojai, where we live, though was SOOOO HOTTT that our staff had to get their outdoor time in first thing in the morning or melt in the afternoon 100+ degree weather.

Those are the afternoons when other activities such as catching a movie indoors is best;) Some of our FAVOURITE movies are the ones with iconic monsters, such as, Godzilla, King Kong and Bigfoot.  We imagine and laugh about scenes of Godzilla speeding through Tokyo on his way to give Mothra the “smack down” or King Kong commuting via bike with the beautiful Faye Wray in tandem towards the Empire State Building.  And when we do that…we come up with some new Tshirt designs to share with you all.  Yeah…yeah…I guess in a way that turns up our “geek quotient” but HEY…when Movie Monsters join the world of cycling it’s definitely makes things more fun!!! -bs

We are BACK on the “blogging bike”

Hey there Cyclelogical followers! NO, you are NOT “seeing things” you are actually reading an “updated” post on our Cyclelogical Web Page. We know…we KNOW it’s LONG overdue and we are dedicated to keep blogging more faithfully! This past summer we have brought on new staff at Cyclelogical, who are enthusiastic to “get back on the bike” and share with you their love of cycling and also keep you updated on all the new and exciting things that are happening at Cyclelogical. Here pictured is one of the guys riding through Ojai, California where we are headquartered. We are excited about this “season” we are in and what’s happening. There are also quite a few events we will be setting up our Cyclelogical Tent at around California, Arizona and Nevada in the upcoming months for you to meet us in person (keep reading for details to follow:) Well that’s enough of a “teaser” for you all…and “hey, it’s Monday” so we have heaps of work to catch up on after a weekend of biking around downtown Ojai and on the Ventura River Preserve Trails. Until next post…Ride Fast and Live Free!!! -JC

Vintage Raleigh found on side of street

I was cruising home the other day in my trusty van and spotted this Vintage Raleigh,  it is made in Ireland.  How cool!  I did some research on it, and the factory apparently burnt down and never re-opened.  I guess the Irish should just stick with BEER.  Going to repurpose this bad boy and have it at the upcoming Interbike.
