what a year

2013

This past year has been quite the ride for all of us here at Cyclelogical.

It feels as if we are still trying to play catch up with this past year and yet we are onto a new one. We all have had mini personal achievements over the past 12 months and as a company we have grown by leaps and bounds. Adding a new full-time employee and seeing our men’s shirts in one of the largest outdoor retail stores in the U.S. We have ridden this year as hard as we could both on and off our bikes and we are ending 2012 a bit tired but with a huge smile on our faces ready for 2013’s ride. Through the growing pains of a small business and the endeavors of making the right choices and working hard, we hold our families close as we celebrate the goodness this past year has brought to all of us and ring in the new year with anticipation, excitement and a greater sense of adventure!

Goodbye 2012 &  Hello 2013!

my favorite gift

Happy holidays everyone! I feel as though we have been on our own personal planet the past 5 days. We shut down the office on Friday and re-opened today. I cannot believe it is already Wednesday and we are gearing up for the introduction of 2012. We are excited for all the new gear we have in the works for the next year and for a few personal cycling goals. This past year rocked as a company and everyday I am thankful for getting to do what I do.  ~AT

I wanted to share a photo of my favorite gift from the weekend.

Tom and Jerry’s-Adult Beverage

With the rumor of snow starting to fall here in the midwest, we thought we would share with you one of the joys that gets us through the dreaded winter.

In our Milwaukee office we have a favorite winter holiday beverage. Tom and Jerry’s! It is very similar to a spiked eggnog but much better and served hot. The velevty cream is mixed with brandy and rum and topped with the a dollop of whip cream and sprinkled with cinnamon and or nutmeg  and can also be served without the liquor.

We usually purchase Mrs. Bowen’s Tom and Jerry Mix which we find at the local super market  but it can also be made as well. Here is a recipe from Esquire magazine I found and here is a link where you can order Mrs. Bowen’s Tom and Jerrys and have it mailed to your door. (alcohol NOT included)
